FARMiCiA is the conception of Kevin Klause (formerly of the White Dog Cafe), James Barrett and Wendy Smith Born (owners of Metropolitan Bakery), who share a vision of a restaurant that captures the pleasures of simply crafted food and excellent beverages served in a relaxed yet lively environment. The emphasis is on great tasting food and beverages crafted from local, organic, and artisanal producers.
Located in Philadelphia’s historic Old City, FARMiCiA is a 122-seat restaurant and bar serving breakfast, lunch, an afternoon meal, a relaxed dinner, and brunch on the weekends. The Farm Bar hosts a lively and sophisticated environment for those who seek out new and interesting places to dine and socialize late into the evening.

From the South
Take 95 north to Columbus Boulevard, exit 20. Turn left at the fork onto Columbus Boulevard south. Take ramp towards Historic Area/Market St./Center City. Left at the top of ramp onto Market. Left at 4th, then left at Chestnut and another left at 3rd. We’re on the right side in the middle of the block, between Market and Chestnut.
From the North
Take 95 South to Central Philadelphia. Take exit 17 for I-676/US-30. Turn right at Callowhill Street, left at 4th Street, eft at Chestnut, then another left at 3rd. We’re in the middle of the block on your right.
From the East
Take 676 East (Vine Street Expressway) to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge exit. Turn right at the bottom of ramp. Proceed four lights, left at Chestnut Street. Left at 3rd Street. We’re in the middle of the block on your right.
Take the Ben Franklin Bridge to 5th Street exit. Right onto New Street, right at 4th. Pass three lights, (Bourse Parking Garage will be on your right if you’re looking for parking) and left at Chestnut. Left at 3rd. We’re in the middle of the block on your right.
Park your car in the Park America lot adjacent to the restaurant on 3rd Street, at the Bourse Garage located on 4th Street between Market and Chestnut Streets, or the AutoPark at Old City, located on 2nd Street between Chestnut and Walnut Streets. There is a smaller lot on N. 3rd – the other side of Market — between Market and Arch as well. Metered street parking is also available throughout Old City.

Main Dining Room
FARMiCiA’s Main Dining Room can accommodate up to 90 guests for standing events and up to 68 guests for seated gatherings.
The FARM Bar area is available for smaller cocktail parties and can accommodate up to 40 guests.
The LOFT. Just beyond the FARM Bar is the LOFT at FARMiCiA which is graced by the large landscape painting by Conrad Nebeker.
The LOFT accommodates up to 45 guests for a standing event. It can also be arranged to your specifications for seated events of up to 32 guests.

The entire restaurant can accommodate 180 guests for standing events such as Cocktail Parties and can be configured to your specifications for seated events for up to 119 guests.

When emailing us, please include your name, e-mail address, phone number, the date and time you are interested in, and the size and name of your group. This is the best way for us to get the information out to you. We will reply with an e-mail in one to two days. *Please note we can not accommodate breakfast parties larger than 6 guests.

Enjoy FARMiCiA’s simply crafted farm-fresh food at your next business luncheon, office celebration, promotion or retirement, as well as pre-wedding events, showers, birthdays and holiday get-togethers. Relax on your lunch break in our bright, spacious dining room and easily converse while savoring delicious dishes from our extensive lunch menu. We offer crisp salads made from organic greens, grilled seafood, vegetarian fare and locally raised grass-fed angus burgers topped with Amish cheddar.
Hosts and their guests have raved about the irresistibly good food, attentive service and comforting ambience they have experienced at FARMiCiA. We have had the pleasure of planning events ranging from wedding rehearsal dinners and receptions, to corporate functions, to charitable soirees, and milestone celebrations. Whether cocktail parties, sit-down dinners or a combination of the two, our fresh seasonal offerings will be appreciated and memorable.
Sunday through Thursday evenings FARMiCiA can accommodate groups up to 120 guests with your choice of dining and beverage packages. FARMiCiA is closed on Mondays.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, FARMiCiA offers two seatings for large groups up to 32 people.
The choices are 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm or 9:00 pm until closing.
On Saturday and Sunday, Brunch gatherings are limited to parties of 6 people or less.
Happy Hour is a great time to get together with friends and colleagues. Between the hours of 5 and 7, Tuesday – Friday, Farm Bar hosts a lively and sophisticated environment for those who seek out new and interesting places to dine and socialize. Take advantage of our half-priced tonics, wine, beer and cocktails. Tempting plates are available to share from our FARM Bar Menu.
FARMiCiA also offers Brunch Happy Hour on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 2 pm. All alcoholic beverages are offered at half the price, including draught beer, specialty cocktails, tonics, glasses of wine, etc. Pair a Barn Burner (FARMiCiA’s own Bloody Mary) or a glass of champagne with your meal for half the price. What a great way to start the day!
